Shark Boot in Black

A great men’s boot in durable exotic black shark. The shaft is Italian calfskin stitched with red, orange and white. People will notice that spark of red piping down the side. Of course, it has the 60 lemonwood pegs and stacked leather heel—just like they were made 70 years ago. This boot is one of our best selling men’s boots. Men just love this hearty, good-looking boot!

Most comfortable boots I ever had

I have had these boots for about four months. I wear them around town and sometimes horseback riding. The durability of the shark skin doesn’t deter me from rough terrain. The comfort this boot gives was noticeable the first day of wear.

Best boots I've ever owned

Every time I wear these I get compliments. I've even been stopped on the street here in Seattle by older ladies to ask about the boots. I was expecting to get guff for an exotic leather (even though most sharks are plentiful - people make assumptions around here) and people tend to be more surprised that you can make boots out of fish skin.
Plus these boots are insanely comfortable. It took a bit of time before the counter softened up enough for me to get my feet into them easily, but now they fit like a glove. I recommend these highly and I'm saving for another pair from Heritage.

Great Looking and Very Comfortable.

Like Gus, this is my second pair of Heritage Boots. Also like Gus, my first pair was the Apache Brown Waxed Leather. Those are great looking as well, but these sharkskins are amazing looking boots. My pair have perfectly matched skins. There is a small ridge line that goes down the center of the boot to the toe. Great attention to detail by the boot maker. Both pair of boots are extremely comfortable. I got my Apaches in 2012 and these Sharks in 2014, so I have a lot of wear on both of them. Other than replacing the rubber layer of the heel on the Apaches, both pair look like brand new. I can't recommend Heritage Boots more,

3 years in (second pair I’ve purchased from HB)

My second pair of Heritage just turned 3. They’re only getting better with age, the thing is with these Sharks, which I wear 5X more than my Apaches, IS THEY DON’T AGE! They still look amazing even after all these years, miles, and TX dancehalls. This pair is responsible for multiple friends purchasing Heritage. I have client’s stopping me in my place of employment asking where I got these they’re so dang sharp! Don’t waste the money buying something that will start flaking, cracking, or disintegrating in under 2 years but cost the same. These are the real deal and heirloom quality. (My wife owns 3 pairs as well; The Palomino, The Enid, and a suede/turquoise Pair of which I can’t recall the name.)

To top it all off, the level of customer service we receive each time we’re in Heritage is hands down some of the best I’ve experienced, even when we’re just browsing and not purchasing. Don’t skip this little gem when in Austin!

Amazing!

I purchased these boots about two weeks ago and absolutely love them! They are super comfortable, easy to maintain, and look awesome! First pair with Heritage but certainly not the last!

Hand Tooled Baguette

I purchased this baguette 14+ years ago when visiting Austin for work. I am still using the original however I wanted to ensure I would never be without the baguette. It is beautiful, durable and I always get complimented on how stunning my bag is. Thanks so much for your excellent craftsmanship.

Superb Fit for Difficult Feet

One look at these and you can see the quality. The stitching through out the boots is impeccable. The fit is amazing even with my problem right foot. The new soles are rock solid on the smoothest surfaces...HOW DID THEY DO THAT? I made several trips into Heritage before before zeroing in on the smooth ostrich FT. Each time I was greeted and helped like a return customer by different mavens. I love my new boots! Thank you Jerimiah Craig for pointing me in the direction of HBC.

The inlay design on the vamp is a cool feature of the boot. The orangish brown color of the boot is much more unique then the standard brown and really stands out with jeans. The leather is soft and really conforms to your foot. It’s a quality build with a sleek design that has the distinctive Heritage snip toe. The contrasting dark brown top with six rows of stitching that culminates into a “Star” pattern. A definite show stopper for anyone wants a boot that stands out.

First pair was so great I had to get the other pair I wanted.

I went in to the store to check out their boots. I was impressed, therefore I picked up the black sharkskin. I was so happy, I had to go back and get these beauties too. Heritage Boots cares about their customers so much, they easily complied with my request to have a custom belt made in polished brown alligator. 100% percent class act (the staff and the product)!
